Gdansk International Fair (Miedzynarodowe Targi Gdanskie MTG) has operated in the exhibitions market since 1989. It specialises in the organising of fairs and exhibitions for many branches of economy.

Gdansk International Fair won many prizes and distinctions, including the Honorary Silver Ace, Hermes - the Award of the Polish Fairs Corporation and the Gdansk Award for Quality. Among MTG partners, clients and exhibitors are the best Polish firms.

Regular events

Popular fairs and cultural events organized by MTG include:

St Dominic's Fair - the largest trade and cultural outdoor event in Poland and one of the largest such events in Europe. The contemporary form of St Dominic’s Fair recalls the Medieval tradition of fun and trade. Every August, over 1000 merchants, artists, artisans and collectors put up their stalls in the historical city centre.

Ambermart - International Amber Fair AMBERMART, organised to facilitate the sale of finished amber jewellery and silver jewellery with amber presented by domestic and international producers to customers from home and abroad. The thematic range of the event covers: Silver and gold jewellery with amber, Amber jewellery and decorative objects, Applied art and designer glassware.

Amberif - the International Fair of Amber, Jewellery and Gemstones attracting representatives and owners of wholesale companies, chain outlets, retailers, galleries and museums, as well as scientists, gemmologists and trade media from Poland and abroad.

Exhibition Centre

Since 1994 the fairs have been organised in a modern Exhibition Centre, which provides professional conference and services facilities. Located in the city centre with a nearby port and maritime zone, well situated and with easy access. It means a comprehensive services base in terms of modern exhibiting and the comprehensive servicing of exhibitors, visitors and guests.

The centre offers:

• over 12,000 m2 of exhibition area in the modern halls of the Exhibition Centre,
• over 1800 m2 of exhibition area in temporary pavilions,
• 6000 m2 of outdoor exhibition area,
• 3000 m2 of exhibition structures with extra equipment,
• the design and setting up of turnkey exhibition stands,
• the organisation of commissioned events (training, seminars, conferences, etc.)
• graphic services,
• translation services,
• accommodation,
• fully equipped seminar rooms,
• catering infrastructure,
• car parks

Press centre

Accreditation and servicing of the press, organisation of press conferences. Accreditation at all trade exhibitions organised by the Gdansk International Fair Co. is free of charge and is provided to journalists from home and abroad, together with their support teams, on the basis of a valid press identity card. Accredited journalists receive: ID cards allowing entry to the fairgrounds, a catalogue of exhibitors, information materials, invitations to press conferences and other events accompanying the fair. The press office is at the journalists' disposal.
The Centre also organises press conferences ordered by the exhibitors.
